Master Plan Next Steps
The Visioning Workgroup’s recommendations and the full report was presented to the Lane County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. The County is considering how to advance the recommendations, including feasibility studies and funding strategies.

What is the Master Plan?
The Master Plan is a comprehensive, long-term planning document that provides a strategic framework for the development, improvement, and management of the LEC. An updated master plan will help guide investment in the property and help us prioritize infrastructure updates.
This plan will support the LEC as it continues to grow and adapt, serving as a hub for events, programs and emergency services that reflect the evolving needs and priorities of our community.

Included an engagement process that gathers diverse perspectives and ideas
Identified community needs, values, and priorities
Shaped a shared vision for the Lane Events Center
Developed community-guided designs concepts to bring the vision to life
